The Birtenshaw Group are looking to appoint an experienced Finance Supervisor to have oversight and responsibility of all transactional processes within the finance department.
To be considered, you must be AAT qualified / part qualified, or equivalent and have experience in:
* Business banking, cash management and bank reconciliation,
* Effectively managing a team or working in a supervisory capacity.
* The use of accounting and bookkeeping software.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week arranged to best meet the needs of the organisation. Agile working offered following a period of induction / training.
Main Responsibilities will include:
* To support the finance department with timely control and management of all aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger systems.
* To be responsible for the supervision, development and support of a team of Finance Assistants.
* To create and maintain robust procedures and controls to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
* Provide support and assistance to the Director: Finance in producing monthly and ad-hoc reporting and to improve processes and create efficiencies within the department.
