Your role is pivotal, ensuring that we can continue to deliver our service across the UK.\n\nWhether you're looking to overhaul the industry, or just do a good day's work, we know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.\n\nWhat we can offer you;\n\n- 25 days of annual leave plus statutory bank holidays\n \n- Access to our people's pension scheme\n \n- Refer an Engineer to us once you've joined and earn £1000\n \n- Free physiotherapy service \n \n- Discounts on everything from groceries to well known retailers\n \n- Access to a range of resources to support your physical, mental and financial health; so you can lean on us whenever you need to\n \n- Ongoing training and development opportunities, allowing you to reach your full potential \n\nWhat you'll be doing;\n\nYou will be responsible for the day to day service, MOT preparation and repairs of our HGV's.\n \nYou will keep our HGV's safely on the road, so our street side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers.\n \nResponsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure our fleet is reliable, available and safe.\n \nRepair and maintain the Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.\n \nEnsure that all necessary paperwork, and time sheets are completed accurately.\n \nAttend roadside breakdowns when required.\n\nWhat we're looking for;\n\nPrevious experience as a Mechanical Fitter/Technician ideally with an NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification.\n \nHold a HGV driving licence.\n\nIf you are a skilled or semi-skilled Technician we'd still love to hear from you.
