The Role As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of regular teachers across various subject areas. This role requires a flexible and resourceful individual who can quickly adapt to different teaching styles and curriculum demands. You will also be expected to maintain a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring students remain engaged and on track. Key Responsibilities Delivering engaging and informative lessons across a variety of subjects to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Adapting to different teaching styles and curriculum requirements. Managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and behavior. Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning. Qualifications and Experience Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred. Strong subject knowledge across a range of disciplines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
