The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality French lessons to students aged 11-18, fostering a love for languages, and promoting cultural awareness. You will play a key role in developing students' linguistic skills and confidence, preparing them for both examinations and real-world applications. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated French lessons in line with the national curriculum. Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources. Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development opportunities. Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events. Person Specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK. Degree in French or a related field. Proven experience teaching French at the secondary level, with a track record of successful student outcomes. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements for Modern Foreign Languages. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
