Our client, the entrepreneurial division of a global management consultancy is on a journey to build its back-office functions to support its growing portfolio of companies which include enterprises in Legal, Executive Search, Consulting and Private Wealth. This hire is imperative in supporting business growth and will be working closely with the executive leadership team to ensure all that the above companies are equipped to meet current and future HR needs.

The role will be full time, supporting teams in the US and UK and will require international travel. Inter alia, the individual will:
* Partner with senior leadership to shape the company’s strategic vision and ensure HR practices align with the company’s business goals, vision, and growth objectives
* Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes.
* Provide thought leadership on workforce planning, talent strategy, organizational design, and leadership development to ensure long-term success.
* Drive the transformation of HR by embracing innovative solutions, HR technology, and best practices to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience.
* Lead the company’s DEI strategy to build an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workforce.
* Oversee compensation and benefits policies for the entire organization, ensuring that reward systems are motivating, equitable, and support retention strategies.
* Develop and implement variable pay structures, incentive programs, and long-term reward strategies that align with organizational performance.
* Foster a high level of employee engagement by embedding core values into every aspect of the employee experience ensuring that the culture supports its business objectives.
* To advise and manage sensitive employee relations matters at the highest level, providing guidance and resolution in compliance with applicable employment laws.
* Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary ensuring alignment with different jurisdictions’ employment legislation.
* Regularly report on HR performance metrics and trends to the executive team, advising on areas for improvement and the return on investment of HR initiatives.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
* Administer payroll and payroll records and keep accounts appraised of any changes.
* Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies regarding documentation and recordkeeping.
* Support the recruitment process – constructing terms and conditions of employment.
* Oversee new employee onboarding, including preparing orientation materials, arranging training, and ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
* Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
Qualifications & attributes:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
* Knowledge of UK and US employment law is highly beneficial.
* Adaptable and able to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
* Extensive experience in HR management, talent development, organizational design, DEI initiatives, employee relations, and executive compensation.
* Proven track record of successfully driving large-scale organizational change, fostering a high-performance culture, and improving employee engagement.
* In-depth knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and risk management across multiple regions.
* Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders, serving as a trusted advisor to executives and business unit leaders.
