About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively manage and reduce aged debt through effective communication and relationship-building with clients.
* Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts and plan appropriate follow-ups.
* Evaluate overdue accounts and collaborate with internal teams to determine referral for external collection as required.
* Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of debt status and actions taken.
* Respond promptly and effectively to client queries and issues related to outstanding payments.
* Negotiate payment plans and terms in alignment with company policy.
* Work closely with the finance team to forecast cash flow and highlight potential issues.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the credit control process.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a credit control or debt recovery role.
* Strong understanding of credit management and debt collection processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
* High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
