At Aulds Bakeries we produce delicious day fresh bakery products at our bakery in Greenock, distributing these throughout the central belt of Scotland for our customers to enjoy and to bring a smile to their faces each day!
To do so we need to make sure that our machinery is well looked after and keeps our output going each day. We are therefore looking for an experienced electrically trained maintenance engineer to assist us in meeting our aims.

The role
As the Maintenance Engineer, with assistance from maintenance technicians and external contractors you will be responsible for the monitoring and maintaining of on-site equipment. This will involve preventative maintenance, problem solving, reactive maintenance and looking at new equipment, project management and maintenance schedules for the buildings.
Your Accountabilities will include
1. Continual work in line with the preventative maintenance schedule and machinery breakdowns.
2. Creating and undertaking maintenance and servicing schedules.
3. Carrying out engineering problem solving when required.
4. Overseeing the installation of new equipment.
5. Overseeing the required maintenance work on buildings and facilities.
The Candidate
Ideally we would like the person joining our team to have:
1. A degree, diploma, or similar qualification in an electrical discipline.
2. Significant experience in carrying out a similar role in a similar industry.
3. A diverse skill base to allow maintenance of a broad scope of machinery.
4. Up to date technical knowledge and a high level of problem-solving skills.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
7. A can-do attitude and hands-on approach coupled with a desire to succeed.
