About the Finance & Facilities Management Department:
The Finance Team oversees the organization’s financial activities, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulations. It collaborates closely with other teams to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in maintaining financial stability and sustainability, contributing to Fei Yue’s overall mission of serving the community effectively.
Responsibilities:
* Overseeing and reviewing day-to-day financial operations within the company
* Responsible for period end closing process and ensure all journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly
* Prepare and review Balance Sheet schedules to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
* Able to lead and provide guidance to team members to meet reporting deadlines
* Liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties such as banks and auditors
* Monitor and review schedules for the interim and year-end audit
* Other assignments as assigned
Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree holder
* At least 3 years of accounting full function experience
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
* Knowledge of relevant accounting software
* Able to work under some pressure with time-sensitive tasks
* Meticulous, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
* Multi-tasking and leadership abilities
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing
