A pioneering biotech company; are seeking an Office Manager and Operations coordinator to join their evolving and growing team. The Office Manager will lead from the front with corporate and team building events in addition to their office tasks.
The role purpose is to maintain an organised and efficient office environment and support administrative duties, including management of supplier relationships such as the Travel Management Company (TMC) and planning company events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain office systems and procedures
* Ensure a safe, clean, and professional office environment
* Coordinate on-site company/community lunches and events
* Review and update Health & Safety policies
* Manage contracts and relationships with service providers and vendors
* Procure office supplies and services cost-effectively
* Support space planning and other office projects
* Manage relationships with our TMC and key partners
* Oversee adherence to Travel & Expenses and ESG policies
* Bring new ideas and improvements to the function
Skills Needed:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail and creative problem-solving
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Experience as an Office Manager
* Proficiency in G-Suite, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Professional, proactive, and adaptable
Working Hours: 07:30-16:00 or 08:00-16:30
Location: Office-based, with occasional work-from-home flexibility
