Position
An opportunity has arisen within the Community Forensic Mental Health Service in Ayrshire for a dynamic occupational therapist at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What you will do:
You will participate in the ongoing development of innovative models of care in forensic services, utilising evidence based practice and a human rights, strengths based approach.
Line management supervision and caseload allocation will be undertaken in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team and through supervision. There is an ongoing commitment to providing dynamic professional and clinical supervision which meet our wider staff and service needs.
Support and development is promoted and encouraged through a variety of forums including participation in practice development groups, in house and external training and national forums. National benchmarking and engagement is encouraged and supported

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC Registration are essential requirements.
Experience of working as an Occupational Therapist within mental health services is required. Experience of working within a forensic mental health setting would be beneficial.

37 per week
