About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a V300 qualified ADHD Specialist Nurse (NMP) to join our business with remote working.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Following NICE guidelines when prescribing.
2. Attending school meetings and safeguarding meetings as required (via TEAMS).
3. Undertaking duty calls as needed.
4. EMIS and electronic prescribing - Training can be given.
5. Regular supervision available, both clinical and managerial.
Our Clinics:
1. Remote work.
2. Other options available such as hybrid, depending on your location.
3. 8-10 appointments a day, including remote review/new patient medication initiation appointments (45 mins) and telephone titrating review appointments (15-20 mins).
4. Prescription writing slot with 8-10 prescriptions to authorise in 45 mins.
5. 30 min admin slots.
What We’re Looking For:
1. NMC Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice.
2. CAMHS background.
3. BNFC and the ability to follow clinical protocols.
4. Experience working with children and young people diagnosed with ADHD.
5. Able to carry out face-to-face or remote appointments.
