Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 28 year old young lady with many interests including being out and about socialising with people which include going to cafes, pubs music venues, and discos.
I have a significant learning disability, epilepsy and I am non-verbal, I am able to communicate with communication aids.
I am seeking a personal assistant to support me with physical and emotional welfare, personal care will be involved as I suffer with incontinence.
I enjoy swimming, horse riding, skiing, and going to city centres, and other outdoor activities where I can get some exercise. I'm a people person who likes to socialise and not stay in.
I also like dressing up, I have many headbands I like to wear some include animal ears like cats or bears.
My dislikes are the cinema and bowling, although at the bowling centre they play good music and I enjoy shooting pool hand over hand there or playing the games like centipede.

To support and assist me when I am out in the community.

15 to 20 hours a week
RATE OF PAY
£13.00 per hour

Reliable and trustworthy.
Must be a driver with business class insurance.
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
