As a HR Support Apprentice, you’ll be part of a friendly and professional People team, helping us deliver a first-class service to our colleagues across the business. You'll be supporting a broad range of HR activities, including: Recruitment & Onboarding – helping coordinate interviews, drafting offer letters, and welcoming new starters. HR Administration – maintaining our HR systems, records and files to keep everything up to date and accurate. Payroll & Benefits Support – assisting with monthly payroll processes and employee benefit schemes. Learning & Development – supporting training coordination and helping track staff development. Employee Relations – shadowing and learning how to support the business with matters such as performance, absence, and wellbeing. Project Work – assisting with exciting people-focused projects such as wellbeing, engagement, and diversity & inclusion. You’ll learn how HR supports a business through its full employee lifecycle – from hiring to retirement – all while gaining valuable skills and experience in line with CIPD Level 3 standards. What we're looking for: A recent school/college leaver or someone early in their career, ready to get stuck in and learn. A genuine interest in working in HR, People Management or Business Operations. Good written and verbal communication skills. Organised, reliable, and proactive with great attention to detail. Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care. Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). 3 A Levels (BCC or above) and 5 GCSEs (including Maths at grade 4 and English Language at grade 4 or above).
