Role: Warehouse Administrator
Location: Ashford, Staines
Hours: Monday to Friday -08:30-16:30
Salary: £26,000 – 18 month Fixed term Contract
A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for an Warehouse Administrator to join our client’s successful team in Ashford, Staines .

About the role:
As a Warehouse Administrator you will be required to carry out a variety of Admin duties whilst on-site to support the Warehouse team with customer communication, management of the WMS and manage/monitor jobs allocated to couriers.
Roles & responsibilities:
1. Booking goods in and out on the WMS.
2. General warehouse office duties when required.
3. Liaising with internal and external customers, in a professional and courteous manner via telephone and e-mail.
4. Manage customer mail boxes efficiently and in line with customer requirements.
5. Running and uploading customer reports in line with customer KPI’s
6. Ensure a professional and efficient service is delivered at all times.
7. Troubleshoot problems quickly and identify solutions to minimise impact to customer.
8. Updating warehouse systems, ensuring a high degree of accuracy including third party systems.
9. Ensure all items that arrive and are dispatched are recorded on the appropriate paperwork/systems and follow the agreed process.
10. Answer the warehouse door and where required liaise with warehouse operatives for inbound/outbound deliveries.
11. Ensure equipment and stock are clearly labelled and identified.
12. Ensure the work area is clean and tidy at all times
13. Support warehouse Stock checks.
14. Assist team members as required and provide support to Team leader as directed.
15. To escalate all issues as required.
16. Adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policy at all times.
17. Maintain the standards of the company as defined in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
18. Ensure that all processes are adhered to at all times and all paperwork is completed correctly and ready for input.
19. In addition to your normal duties you may be required to undertake other duties in line with the needs of the business and flexibility should be recognised as paramount to the role..

Skills & experience:
26. Commitment to the highest standards of health & safety and environmental protection.
27. Warehouse Admin, stock control including perpetual stock checks.
28. Computer literate, able to use WMS.
29. Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude.
30. IT Literate, Competent user of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and E-mail)
31. Excellent communication skills written and verbal
32. Capable of working on own initiative.
