The Role Fantastic Opportunity for a Degree Educated Executive Assistant (Russell Group University) Nigel Wright are delighted to be supporting a professional business in Newcastle upon Tyne with their search for an Executive Assistant to support their senior leadership team. Key responsibilities will typically include: Assisting the Equities team in building relationships directly with corporates Assisting in organising regular contact with portfolio companies as well as engagement with a wider universe of relevant corporates Supporting the preparation of presentation materials Supporting with the planning, logistics and execution of conferences Actively monitoring for corporate roadshows and field trips Communicating key business priorities Liaising directly with corporate access desks and engaging with internal members of staff across all departments, at all times exercising a professional and approachable manner Gatekeeping diaries and keeping abreast of stakeholders’ meeting schedules Screening calls, facilitating conference calls and managing ad hoc correspondence with external parties Coordination of business travel, including booking transport and accommodation, and preparing itineraries Conducting ad hoc projects, research, administration, and record-keeping Working with members of the wider Business Administration and Executive Assistant teams to provide support to the firm as required. The Person Skills/Attributes: Minimum academic requirements of 2:1 Bachelor’s degree from a Russell Group university with good A-level grades (or international equivalents) Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role Very strong administrative and IT skills, in particular strong Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word skills Experience of handling highly sensitive information with tact, diplomacy and discretion Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates a solution-oriented approach and a proactive attitude with the ability to maintain momentum towards objectives and deadlines Demonstrates close attention to detail Ability to deal with competing priorities, prioritise and demonstrate a disciplined thought process and an ability to anticipate needs Good team player, strong work ethic, confident and energetic The ability to cooperate effectively with the wider Business Administration team Next Steps Please contact for further details.
