Portfolio Payroll are currently working with an international business in the Liverpool area who are recruiting for a Payroll Subject Matter Expert/Payroll Lead to join their team. You will be responsible for understanding international payroll legislation - particularly USA, policy and procedure and international process.
Key Duties/Tasks:
1. Assisting the team with escalated queries
2. Being the subject matter expert on international payroll
3. Management of vendor
4. Troubleshooting for current issues & areas of development
5. Providing reports and advice
6. Making recommendations
7. Working with global payroll team and wider management to forge solutions
8. Producing reports for senior management
Desirable skills and attributes:
1. Payroll experience as an international or Global Payroll specialist or manager
2. Full and comprehensive understanding of payroll function for international countries
3. Experience of collaborating with different departments and stakeholders
4. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
5. Experience of Automation, continuous improvement, system migration
