Customer Support Engineer

Salary: Up to £37,000, but open to all levels and salaries as long as you have commercial experience with Hardware and Software fixes.
Location: Based near Northampton, on-site parking provided.
Who are we and what will you be doing?
My client is using the most cutting-edge gaming software and hardware to create a bespoke product for their clients. While they have the expertise in-house, they need someone with a solid background as an IT technician/support engineer to assist customers with high-level purchases. Your day-to-day role will involve maintaining and supporting their network to ensure optimal performance, troubleshooting product-specific problems in the sales room, and being the first line of support for customers who need assistance over the phone.
What you need:
1. Experience in an IT support environment commercially with both Hardware and Software fixes.
2. Knowledge of Windows PC and Software Systems.
3. A good customer-facing manner (previous experience preferred).
4. Ability to work independently.
5. Superb communication skills.
6. Positive attitude and the ability to work until the problem is solved.
What it would be nice to have:
1. Previous experience in a telephone support environment.
2. A passion for motorsports.
