We are looking for a caring and understanding personal assistant to provide support for a wonderful wife and mother living with Alzheimer’s. She has lost some independence but deeply values her sense of dignity and enjoys being outdoors.
The ideal candidate is a compassionate and reliable carer with experience in Dementia or Alzheimer’s care. They should have a deep understanding of how to provide support that maintains dignity and encourages independence, helping her stay engaged and comfortable. Patience, empathy and an attentive approach to communication are essential, as she may sometimes struggle with words. accompanying her on walks, coffee stops with sensitivity to her hip issue.
