We are now looking for a Communications Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
As a Communications Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-impact creative external and internal communications campaigns to raise the profile of our work with young people.
Playing a vital role in telling the wide-ranging story of the organisation and achieving our business goals, you’ll develop communications strategies, produce engaging content and manage relationships with media, ambassadors and key stakeholders.
You’ll manage our growing ambassador programme, onboarding, identifying opportunities and acting as a contact at events to enhance the profile of our work, and ensuring young people are at the heart of all our communications and everything we do.
Additionally, you will:
1. Monitor the news agenda and identify and pursue opportunities for coverage
2. Manage the administration for the Communications Team
About You
To be considered as a Communications Manager, you will need:
1. Experience working within communications leading, managing and delivering communication campaigns across multiple channels
2. Experience delivering high-profile communications campaigns, working with journalists to gain media coverage and utilising LinkedIn to raise the profile of an organisation
3. Experience working with ambassadors and high-profile figures (or similar) – and their agents, from their support of an organisation to managing their attendance and appearance at events
4. The ability to produce engaging and compelling materials including press releases, reports, briefings, award submissions etc
5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
6. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
7. Good IT skills, with experience using content management systems, Google Suite or equivalent
The successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one due to the nature of the role.
