About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and professional Personal Assistant (PA) to the Headteacher to join our dynamic team at St Joseph's. This is a key role providing high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher, ensuring the smooth running of their daily schedule and wider school operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Headteacher.
* Manage the Headteacher’s diary, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
* Provide support to wider Headship and Senior Leadership Team.
* Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations.
* Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
* Organise school events, meetings, and take minutes when required.
* Assist with HR and recruitment administration where necessary.
* Support in ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
✔ Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
✔ A strong communicator, both written and verbal.
✔ Proactive and resourceful, able to anticipate the needs of the Headteacher.
✔ Confidential and professional, handling sensitive matters with discretion.
✔ Experienced in administration, preferably in an educational setting.
✔ Tech-savvy, with strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, MIS systems, etc.).

Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
Term time [38 weeks per year] plus 4 weeks during INSET and school holidays.
