Further Information:
A calm and patient PA is required to support a lady living with short term memory problems in the HU6 area. The lady lives alone in her own home and would like to remain independent for as long as possible.
The hours are 10hr 30mins every other weekend, split over Sat and Sun and 2 x half hour bed calls each week on Tues & Thurs. There will be extra hours available as you will be working as part of a team and will be required to cover holiday and sickness hours.
You will be required to help the lady to maintain her home by carrying out some basic household chores, helping with basic meal preparation and laundry and helping her with medication.
The most important part of the role however will be to provide good company and conversation and making sure the lady remains active. She loves board games, crosswords and crocheting. She has a small pet dog which you will be required to walk.
