Environmental, Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator
Permanent – Full Time – 37.5 Hours
We are currently looking to recruit an Environmental, Sustainability and Social Value Coordinator to join our team working around our sites in the East Midlands Region.
As our ESS Coordinator, you will assist in developing and maintaining best practice, driving standards and monitoring performance against our commitments to environmental and sustainability excellence. You’ll ensure all projects in the region comply with associated environmental legislation, consents, permits, licenses and targets, conduct environmental risk assessments, considering how risks could be reduced, whilst preparing and submitting relevant consents and exceptions.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Educated to degree level in an environmental field (e.g. Geography, Ecology)
- IEMA / Environmental Management certificate
- Excellent industry best practice knowledge
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills with project teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders
