Our fantastic Partnership Agency, Safehouses Fostering, is looking for a Team Manager based in our office in Oldham. You will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in this role. We are interested in speaking with current Team Managers, Senior or Advanced Practitioners for this opportunity. As a Team Manager, you will work closely with our service manager to help shape, influence, and implement the future growth of this service from Greater Manchester to West Yorkshire areas. You will be supporting the service manager by managing a team, so someone with strong leadership qualities and a passion for improving outcomes for children is desirable for this role, you must be registered with Social Work England and either hold a Management or Leadership qualification or be prepared to undertake training on this. Part of your role as team manager will be Fostering Panel Advisor, so a keen eye for detail will be essential. In this role, there are some requirements to travel, especially for our Operational Area Manager Meetings and Carer Events. This is an exciting but demanding opportunity for someone to continue to build on an established fostering team. Monday to Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm, and Friday, 9 am – 4:30 pm, although some flexibility will be required.
