Job Description:
We are seeking an ambitious individual to contribute to a variety of projects across the education, ecclesiastical, and commercial sectors as an Assistant Building Surveyor. The successful candidate will be guided and mentored on how to design and manage both projects and professional work.
As an Assistant Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting condition surveys, preparing reports, funding bids, and budget estimates. You will also oversee contract administration and project management from initial design through procurement and on-site delivery.
The ideal candidate will have a RICS-accredited degree in Building Surveying and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting condition surveys and writing reports
* Preparing funding bids and budget estimates
* Drafting tender specifications and managing planning and building regulations applications
* Oversight of contract administration and project management from initial design through procurement and on-site delivery
