Description Permanent Contract | £29,269 to £31,364 per annum (Scale G) | 37 hours per week | Ketteringham Depot We have an opportunity for an organised and self-motivated individual to join our highways maintenance team based at Ketteringham. You will need to have experience of working in a countryside management, environmental science, highway maintenance, construction, or other engineering environment. The main duties involve supporting the Countryside Access Officer in developing solutions to Public Rights of Way (PROW) issues, carrying out public liaison and responding to enquiries, prioritising, and ordering works, producing design briefs for potential schemes and the supervision and inspection of contractor works. You will be part of a team that provides excellent customer service. Effective communication skills are essential as the role involves contact with the public and liaison with others throughout the organisation. Duties can involve the delivery of the service in emergency situations, such as flooding or winter conditions, and may involve working outside normal working hours. You will be required to travel to places not accessible on public transport routes.
