Job summary
The role is focused on leading ABL Health MentalHealth services within the South-West Region, responsible for high-qualitydelivery and excellent outcomes for clients, families, and communities. Thiswill require developing and enabling a vision for the Region which aligns withthe overall strategic aims of the Division and organisation under the guidanceof the Divisional Operations Lead for Mental Health.
Main duties of the job
The role will include operational oversight,performance accountability, high-quality governance and growth of serviceswithin the regional portfolio. Alongside engagement with key strategic leaders,system partners, communities to ensure the services are represented andembedded within local communities. The position will provide effectiveleadership and line management for key personnel, including the Heads ofServices and Project Leads.

Principal Accountabilities
1. Duties will be focused on predominately leading ABL Health South-West region services.
2. To provide leadership of the Region within the context of ABL's strategic plan
3. To take responsibility for the operational management of the services
4. To be accountable for the outcomes and performance (including contract KPIs)
5. To ensure high quality delivery of services
6. To maintain high governance standards
7. Maintain, develop, and further key strategic relationships with stakeholders, Commissioners, and partners
8. To grow the portfolio of service offers across the footprint

10. To contribute to corporate leadership, governance, and strategic thinking as part of the Senior Leadership team.
Main Duties
11. To develop, agree and implement a regional business plan which meets ABL's strategic priorities.
12. To use and when necessary, develop new management tools to monitor and identify areas of underperformance; creating robust plans to address, monitor and report progress.
13. Accountability for working with the team to ensure service activity is reported in a robust way and service data is utilised to identify challenges and inform necessary actions.
14. To ensure high quality operational systems to provide the best possible care to clients.
15. Identify, report, and manage current and emergent risks, leading the implementation of proactive SMART service improvement action plans when required.
16. Ensure a high standard of compliance with CQC KLOEs.
17. To give direction, manage and support Head of Services and Service Leads within the Region.
18. To recruit, train and enable managers within the Region to provide the best possible care to clients and the delivery of contractual obligations.
19. Develop and implement strategies which engage local communities and assets within the divisional area and ensure coproduction initiatives drive service evolution.
20. Maintain and enhance the relationship with key stakeholders, partners, and Commissioners, facilitating routine Contract Review Meetings / Contract management / reporting schedules alongside service managers.
21. To maintain effective internal contract monitoring management systems, leading internal reviews.
22. To help support the business development team to grow ABL services within the region through a land and expand strategy and beyond when required.
23. Contribute to the setting, review, and management of services budgets. With key colleagues, monitor budgets, regularly reviewing expenditure against agreed targets.
24. Prompt and lead ABL Healths services to ensure social impact with engaged communities is embedded as part of contract delivery.
25. To support effective recruitment drives to maintain service quality, delivery and outcomes.
26. To lead mobilisation of new services.
27. To participate in and carry out duties as part of the Senior Leadership team
