Hybrid role – working in the office 2 days a week, Thursday being mandatory
Salary: £25-28k pro rata + benefits
My client is seeking a motivated and dynamic Finance Assistant to join their team. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the accounting function within the business.
Key responsibilities:
* Purchase ledger: entering purchase invoices onto sage 50 accounts, ensuring they are all coded to correct projects and department code. Reconciling supplier accounts and creating month end payment lists
* Sales ledger: creating sales invoices & credit control.
* Booking confirmations/Creation of estimates: creating estimates for customers based off requests from account managers, creating booking confirmations for coaches ensuring time distributed out is covered within the estimate.
* Updating the 360 platform: to assist account managers with entering financial data and updating as needed.
* Credit card reconciliation and processing expenses: reconciling the credit card statement each month, processing employee expenses.
Key qualifications
* Proven success in a bookkeeping / accounts assistant role, particularly in service industries would be beneficial.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Analytical mindset with problem solving abilities
