We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join one of our inspiring Hyndburn Nurseries, as a Nursery Assistant. If you are passionate about making a difference to children’s development and learning, this role may be for you Hours: Full-time and Part-time: Monday - Friday (hours may vary) Pay: £12.90 - £13.50 Location: Hyndburn Your Responsibilities: - Make a positive impact to children’s educational journey. - Have a nurturing personality to support the needs of the children, prioritising their wellbeing. - Ability to support children with additional needs. - Deliver engaging group activities to Key Worker children. - Provide daily care to your key children, encouraging them to become independent. - Be calm and approachable for children, parents/carers and staff, demonstrating clear communication. - Promote high standards of quality within the nursery learning environment. - Be responsible for carrying out observations so that gaps in children’s development can be identified. Your Requirements: - Support the teacher in creating a safe, fun and stimulating environment. - Work collaboratively with the Nursery teacher, other professionals and parents. - Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework. - Relevant experience working with children, in a childcare setting. - Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner Qualification or equivalent. - Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
