Our shops play a vital role in raising the essential funds for our Charity, we are currently looking for a Manager to join our Retail Hub based in Pampisford This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. The hub is at the heart of our retail operations and is responsible for selling furniture and dealing with larger scale donations. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing management oversight, direction and support to the Retail Hub. Main duties will include: Ensuring maximum income generation is achieved, managing the merchandise, stock and promotions within the Hub Managing donations and the sale of larger furniture items Supporting the recruitment, training and development of new staff members and volunteers Ensuring operational procedures and policies are being followed, including Health & Safety and manual handling Overseeing stock levels, ensuring that each of our retail settings have a good level of goods, alongside planning the distribution and rotation of stock between shops We are looking for a shop manager who understands the importance of community and loves working with and supporting people. You will bring your innovation to manage the hub and have control of creative merchandising. You will be motivated by driving income in the Hub, also motivating those around you through regular communication and engagement. To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of working in a similar retail environment with experience of income and expenditure reporting, along with experience of people management. Please note our shop operates 7 days per week and our colleagues work on a shift basis which will include weekends. This role has a starting salary of £26,530, with opportunities to progress to £29,114 per annum. We regret that we are unable to negotiate on salary.
