Studio Manager – Send, Surrey / WFH Fixed Term Contract £45,000 - £48,000 pro rata plus benefits We are recruiting for a fabulous opportunity, a Studio Manager role joining a highly successful marketing agency based near Woking in Surrey on a hybrid basis working on a Maternity Contract. The Studio Manager is pivotal in driving the quality and accuracy of creative execution within the business, understanding all the elements of the design process from end to end, with a focus on team brand accuracy and alignment. They are looking for a Studio Manager with strong relationship skills, who can manage a multi-disciplinary creative team and support, mentor and drive success in the team’s goals and objectives. What’s on Offer 25 days’ holiday plus 8 public holidays Contributory personal pension Company Bonus Social and wellbeing events throughout the year Day-to-Day Responsibilities • Managing the day to day running of the design team, working with the Content and Creative Directors, supported by the COO, to drive excellent creative quality with a particular focus on brand accuracy and alignment, and quality assurance • Leading, supporting and nurturing the multi-disciplinary design team, both core, flexi and freelancers, helping everyone do their best work. Maintaining motivation, capability and championing best practice, which includes keeping abreast of AI and other developments in this area which might be of use in improving efficiency • Where appropriate being client facing to present work, take feedback or discuss creative delivery • Working closely with the Client Services team with accurate time estimates and understanding of best creative approach to deliver project efficiency • Working with the Traffic Manager to assist with correct resourcing based on skills and with the COO to assess upcoming resource needs • Assessing and clarifying client briefs and assigning the appropriate designers to a project • Assisting with clearly communicating the client and project needs to the design team to ensure that the work meets the agreed brief • Reviewing proofs and carrying out design checks on assets • Maintaining existing systems and processes so that the studio and the wider agency are aware of how the creative studio operates. Curating image libraries, branding assets etc. Ensuring your team follow protocols of job set up and naming conventions etc • A creative at heart, you work ‘sleeves up’ with the Creative team to deliver best in class creative work Skills and Expertise • A strong and driven team leader. A people person who likes to nurture and see high performance in their team • Great attention to detail • A good communicator • Skilled with applications which include InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications.
