An Accountancy Firm is looking for an experienced secretary to join their team based in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis!
Your new role
1. Providing day-to-day secretarial and administrative support to partners, directors and departments.
2. Assisting with the smooth running of the Milton Keynes office.
3. Diary management including arranging and confirming meetings and arranging catering as required.
4. Scanning and franking of all outgoing post on a daily basis.
5. Preparing Excel workbooks for tax working papers using templates.
6. Maintaining online technical library and circulating links to weekly updates.
7. Providing cover for reception and switchboard as required.
8. Assisting with preparation of quarterly partner reports.
9. Monitoring partners' emails and forwarding where relevant.
10. Co-ordinating training courses for professional staff as arranged through HR/training managers.
11. Charity/Marketing Champion.
12. Drafting periodic correspondence such as tax return information requests and payment reminders from templates.
13. CRM reporting and updating.
14. Administration of fee protection insurance in Milton Keynes.
What you'll need to succeed
15. Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade A-C
16. Able to deal confidently and effectively with clients, staff and partners
17. Strong written and oralmunication skills
18. Able to adaptmunication style to draft correspondence to different partner’s ‘voice’
19. Self-reliant and proactive working style, able to use own initiative
20. Must be able to multitask
21. Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
