Based within the Organisation Design and Development team, the role of Learning and Development Advisor will report into an Organisational Development Business Partner supporting with the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning and organisational development interventions, in order to meet the developing needs of the business.

Main duties of the job
The role will focus on the delivery of our learning and organisation development strategy and roadmap, which includes but not limited to:
Delivering our corporate induction – Our in-house corporate induction welcomes new colleagues to the wider NHSBSA, whilst working with stakeholders across our recruitment, onboarding, and induction network, to ensure we are creating an environment where colleagues feel welcomed.
· Supporting with the management and delivery of our apprentices – You will support the L&OD Manager and Talent Acquisition team around the promotion and support the business requires for apprenticeships.
· Designing e - learning packages – There will also be a requirement to work with internal customers across 8 directorates to support in designing and creating e-learning courses to be housed within our internal platform. Whilst being the point of contact to ensure updates and changes are made to keep the content relevant.
· Working on our leadership development programmes - You will be asked to support with the development of our managers and be involved in the delivery of content, supporting our leadership and management community via a blended approach.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
In this role, you are accountable for:
1.Being the continuous central point of contact to all new inductee’s, supporting them through their onboarding and induction period upon joining the NHSBSA. Whilst working collaboratively with the Co-Ordinator in forward planning delivery dates, owning the forecasting of new colleagues from across the business.
2.Continuously developing the induction content, whilst continuing to promote, share, and spread processes and practices between directorates, and be involved in the recruitment, onboarding, and induction network.
3.Supporting the OD Business Partner in the evaluation of the induction data and insight; reporting and communicating complex data and insight to enable informed decision making on behalf of the induction agenda.
4.Using data and current trends, you will support in the delivery of targeted leadership and management development.
5.Supporting the OD Business Partner in implementing a plan for leadership and management development.
6.Working with managers to identify appropriate apprenticeship opportunities, whilst supporting with the management of the Digital Account System (DAS) which includes finance forecasting, adding colleagues to the list of learners and tracking their qualifications to ensure payments are made.
7.Applying knowledge of the apprenticeship offering and levy to business area meetings and handling general ad-hoc queries around training providers, costing, start date availability, new courses available and exploring the opportunity to fill vacancies with apprenticeships.
8.Supporting with the involvement in the yearly National Apprenticeship Week events working with the wider L&OD and Talent Acquisition team.
9.Designing engaging workshops and e-learning content, taking full ownership from start to finish, including initial scope meetings, supporting with storyboards, designing the packages, and working with the customer to promote the final product.
10.Developing and maintaining innovative training products to meet the evolving needs of our internal customers.
11.Being proactive in ensuring the L&OD’s Virtual Learning Centre is kept up to date and content is relevant.
12.Contributing to Wellbeing and Inclusion work to support colleagues across the wider NHSBSA.
13.Working collaboratively with the rest of the L&OD team to achieve our strategic people strategy and goals.
14.Being able to bring new and exciting ideas that challenge the current way we provide learning solutions.

13. •Experience of delivering learning and development training in both a face to face and virtual environment.
14. •Experience of engaging with colleagues and stakeholders through a variety of methods to discuss business requirements.
15. •Confident in using Microsoft Packages including, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook.
