We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled, compassionate and caring nursing associate to join our multi-disciplinary team at Plym Bridge House. Plym Bridge House is a Tier 4 Unit for Children& Young People who are experiencing mental health needs that admission tohospital. including PTSD, Autism, Psychosis, Depression, OCD, Anorexia andother non-specific eating disorders.
Plym Bridge House is a regionally respectedteam who engages in rewarding work withthe young people in our care, and is also part of theSouth West Provider Collaborative whose aim is to improve the care pathways foryoung people and keep them closer to home.
Candidates will need to possess excellentcommunication skills and empathy as you will be working alongside otherprofessionals, families and carers. The successful candidate will work in anestablished professional MDT team; supporting the clinical team in the deliveryof therapeutic programmes and plans of care.
We offer a positive and supportiveenvironment to work in, with in-house bespoke training relating directly toCAMHS and inpatient care.
Main duties of the job
To be responsible for the assessment, planning, treatment and evaluation of a group of patients under the appropriate delegation from a registered practitioner and in close liaison with patient/carer, within the parameters of practice of the Nursing Associate role.
All Livewell Southwest staff are expected to able and willing to work across a 7 day service.
