HR Officer – Full time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday) Prospect Training Services has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Officer who enjoys working in an ever evolving environment in close partnership with people managers and employees. This is a great opportunity for a highly knowledgeable, adaptable HR Officer to join a thriving, long established, multi-site training, employability and digital business based in Gloucester. A standalone role, you will report to the Directors and oversee and advise on the HRM matters for our business. We seek a HR professional who shares the same vision and values of PTS and who has extensive knowledge in managing employee relations and change management, including casework experience, employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding and pay reviews as well as having strong analytical and project management skills. About the role You will be manage your own workload in relation to all aspects of the employee lifecycle including (but not limited to) recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, disciplinary, performance, absence management, reward and all associated HR admin. You'll be diligant in ensuring that HR policies, procedures and processes are fully compliant with legal and statutory requirements. You'll take ownership of the upkeep and management of our HRIS (Breathe) You'll work to ensure all HR KPI’s are produced on a monthly basis and analysed in terms of key trends. You must be process- and system-driven and have excellent IT skills. You will be required to travel between our centres in Gloucester so will need your own transport and business insurance. About you: You will be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or be working towards this qualification You will need to possess strong communication skills and attention to detail. Must be able to communicate at all levels and be approachable. You'll have at least 2 years’ experience in managing and resolving complex employee case work as well as experience of working within a multi-site environment. This is a standalone role supported when necessary and appropriate by an external Employment Law advice line. You must therefore possess the skills and confidence to lead employee relations discussions, chair meetings and deliver best-practice advice and outcomes. A good working knowledge of current employment law is essential. An excellent understanding and proven experience of all HR processes and the ability to advise and oversee the payroll, pension and benefits functions. Working knowledge of Safer Recruitment processes is desirable The role will be based at our Head Office in Gloucester with standard working hours being Monday to Friday 8:45am to 4:45pm. That said, we’re open to discuss more flexible options. The expectation is to work in the office a minimum of 3 days per week. Phone and laptop will be provided.
