Location: Hybrid/Rugby (twice a week on-site)

Pay Rate to Intermediary: £30 - £32 per hour
Spinwell is recruiting for a Housing Strategy & Enabling Officer for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HOUSING STRATEGY & ENABLING OFFICER
Lead the development and monitoring of housing strategies, policies, and action plans.
Conduct research and assessments to inform the Housing Strategy and Local Plan policies.
Engage with local communities and stakeholders to address affordable housing needs.
Manage partnerships with Homes England, Registered Providers, and developers to meet community housing requirements.
Oversee affordable housing negotiations, ensuring compliance with Section 106 agreements.
Promote low-cost homeownership and support the Council's affordable housing projects.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE HOUSING STRATEGY & ENABLING OFFICER
Experience in strategy development and housing policy.
Strong knowledge of UK housing, planning, and regeneration policies.
Proven ability to manage partnerships and negotiate effectively.
Excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills.
