We're looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Manchester on a fixed term basis.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will maintain, manage and control our supplier accounts. With a working knowledge of Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger functions, you will be responsible for payments to key suppliers of the business, so the ability to understand commercial needs and organise workload accordingly is key. This is a varied role with plenty of room to make it your own!

The Role
As Accounts Payable Clerk, you will need to adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities in line with business needs.
As well, our Accounts Payable Clerks are responsible for payments to key suppliers of the business, so must be able to understand commercial needs and organise their workload accordingly.
This is a varied and interesting role for an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to develop their knowledge in a vibrant and expanding business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Effective query resolution
2. Achieving weekly/monthly targets
3. Supplier visits/meetings to resolve any ongoing issues
4. Manage stakeholder relationships
5. Supplier statement and GRNI reconciliations
Key Skills:
1. Ability to work under pressure
2. Ability to build good relationships with internal and external customers
3. Customer focus, empathy, and motivation
4. Ownership - a team player but also able to work on your own initiative
5. Ambitious and creative
6. Analytical mindset
7. Positive attitude to change
8. Good level of Excel knowledge
9. Kerridge experience (not essential)
