JOB DESCRIPTION: SEN Teacher Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire, Wisbech Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £130.00 - £200.00 Per day Job Duties: Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Assess individual student needs and create tailored learning programmes Implement strategies to support students with SEN in their academic and personal development Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for students Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialism in SEN or relevant experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Training in specific interventions for SEN students Working Conditions: Regular classroom teaching environment Potential involvement in extracurricular activities and parent meetings Adherence to school policies and procedures All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
