Support Workers Needed: Together We Can Make a Difference
Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual, perhaps with a nursing background, ready to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re looking for exceptional support workers to help create a warm and welcoming environment for people with multiple learning and physical disabilities, to live their glorious ordinary lives.
Our clients, aged from their mid-twenties to mid-sixties, need assistance with daily activities such as medication support, personal care, and feeding (including PEG tube assistance). But it’s not just about the essentials; we also engage in fun activities like swimming, arts and crafts, dining out, and local outings in our mini-bus. You’ll share mealtimes, cooking delicious meals that everyone can enjoy, alongside a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, including registered nurses available around the clock, where no two days are the same.
Many of our clients communicate in unique ways, so your ability to read non-verbal cues will be essential. Every small action can make a big impact, and the rewards like a smile or a moment of relaxation are immeasurable.
Position Details:
* 30 hours per week
* Shifts: Rotational, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
