Regional Manager – Scotland
Location: Scotland (Multi-Site)
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Salary; £50,000 pa, plus company car, bonus scheme

We are a growing logistics company, committed to delivering high standards of service and operational performance. As we expand, we are looking for an experienced Regional Manager to oversee our Scottish region, covering five main site teams and additional smaller non-Amazon operations. Our sites range from Inverness to the Central Belt, requiring a leader who can effectively manage a geographically dispersed team.

The Role
As Regional Manager, you will lead and develop multiple site teams, ensuring high operational performance, reliability, and growth. You will drive key business metrics while also looking for external growth opportunities and strengthening our market presence. A key part of this role will be leading process improvement projects, working collaboratively with site teams and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead, support, and develop site teams across Scotland, from Inverness to the Central Belt, to drive strong operational performance.
* Foster a culture of accountability, development, and safety.
* Recruit, train, and retain top talent to strengthen operations.
Operational Performance & Productivity
* Manage key performance indicators (KPI's) across delivery success, efficiency, cost, and safety compliance.
* Identify performance trends and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
* Ensure all sites exceed reliability and service-level expectations.
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Lead and manage process improvement projects to drive efficiency and productivity.
* Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational enhancements.
* Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies.
Strategic Growth & Business Development
* Identify and explore external growth opportunities, including new partnerships and service expansion.
* Represent the business with key stakeholders and commercial partners.
* Support the COO in shaping and executing regional expansion strategies.
Brand Development & Market Presence
* Act as a key representative for the business in the Scottish region.
* Build relationships with partners, clients, and external stakeholders.
* Drive initiatives that enhance our company’s reputation in the market.
Compliance & Safety Focus
* Ensure full compliance with regulatory and safety requirements.
* Promote a strong safety culture across all operations.
* Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
