Description
This role supports the Head of Consumer Insights & Strategy in enterprise-wide projects ensuring consumers are at the heart of all marketing decision-making. You would be driving the voice of consumers by developing meaningful insights for our brands and business decisions. You would also be identifying, commissioning, managing & reporting insights projects across multiple methodologies.
This role is a part time role, working 20 hours a week.
Responsibilities:
1. Being the voice of the consumer for your marketing team - championing and promoting our consumer first values
2. Effectively manage quantitative/qualitative/desk research studies (both on-going and ad-hoc), including issue identification, briefing, results facilitation and embedding insights into strategy across the brands in your care
3. Analyze and synthesize learnings from research, drawing strategic conclusions, and recommendations that are meaningful
4. Collaborate, communicate and present research insights from multiple data sources effectively to relevant cross functional stakeholders in an impactful and engaging way
5. Collaborate with brand teams on project success criteria and the post evaluation of marketing activities
6. Manage facets of the Insights budget to ensure the greatest impact of spend while maximizing outcomes
7. Engaging key stakeholders with thought leadership pieces relevant to our business

About you:
9. Minimum 5 years in marketing (or marketing related) ideally with time spent in packaged goods environments and/or within Insights teams
10. Ideally a background in consumer/market research, sensory research, consumer insights, marketing
11. Tertiary qualifications in marketing or related field
12. Sound organizational, communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
13. Must have a passion for consumer behaviour – to understand what makes people tick, be a thought leader and naturally curious
14. Strong project management skills and ability to manage tight timelines
15. Ability to analyse and interpret data to make recommendations
16. Ability to think strategically and translate this thinking into measurable actions
17. Strong presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)
18. Analytical skills and good attention to detail
