• No nights or inpatient checks with this role

An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, RCVS-accredited hospital in Cambridgeshire. This purpose-built practice is dedicated to providing exceptional care, with a particular focus on advanced surgery-including laparoscopic procedures, TTAs/TPLOs, and fracture repairs-and dentistry. Every day brings something new, making it an exciting and dynamic workplace.
The practice is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including multiparameter monitoring, digital x-ray, laparoscopic and orthopaedic equipment, dental x-ray, and a comprehensive dental suite. Separate cat and dog wards ensure the highest standard of care, and the team takes pride in holding a silver cat-friendly status.
As an RVN, you will join an experienced and supportive team of 3-4 vets, 6 nurses, and additional support staff. The team includes a veterinary surgeon with a surgical certificate and a certificate holder in dentistry, creating an environment rich in expertise and collaboration. The practice encourages professional growth by supporting individual interests and providing excellent in-house training opportunities. With a diverse caseload that emphasises surgery, dentistry, anaesthesia, and nurse consultations, you'll be involved in every aspect of nursing, making it a rewarding and varied role.
The practice is also a nurse training facility and would welcome an additional clinical coach, although this is not a requirement. Located in a charming Cambridgeshire village, the practice benefits from excellent transport links, including a local train station and easy access to the A505 and M11, making it ideal for both work and leisure travel.
