Primary Teacher (MAT Cover – Year 3) Location: Near South Elmsall, West Yorkshire Contract Duration: May 2025 – February 2026 Salary: To Scale, AWR Compliant Agency: PK Education About the Role: PK Education is excited to support a well-established 2-form entry primary school near South Elmsall in their search for a full-time Year 3 teacher. This is a maternity cover position, starting in May 2025 and running through to February 2026. As a key member of the teaching team, you will work alongside another Year 3 teacher, benefiting from full support in planning and curriculum delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse classes, including children with EAL, SEMH, and SEND needs, and will be passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons to a Year 3 class, ensuring that all students are engaged and challenged. Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum, with support from the other Year 3 teacher. Provide tailored support to students, particularly those with EAL, SEMH, and SEND, ensuring their needs are met in the classroom. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching and approach across the Year 3 cohort. Contribute to the school’s ethos of inclusion, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for all pupils. Engage with parents and carers to support student progress and well-being. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Proven experience working in primary education, particularly with diverse and SEND students. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Passion for creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and provide a positive impact on the learning experience of all students.
