Role Overview: As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring that their enquiries are resolved efficiently and professionally. You will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience, building trust, and promoting our brand. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organised, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide advice and information to customers and staff as the first point of contact, always putting customers first and building trust.
2. Proactively identify the best solutions for each customer, creating value for the company while actively promoting the brand.
3. Accurately and efficiently process bookings, invoices, and payments using company systems and procedures.
4. Plan, monitor, and adjust collection and delivery routes and schedules as necessary.
5. Collate and input information onto databases and spreadsheets as required.
6. Maintain records, produce accurate documentation, and generate regular statistical information and management reports.
7. Handle customer complaints effectively, resolving them sympathetically to the customer’s satisfaction.
8. Follow company policies and procedures, with particular attention to standards of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.
Person Specification:
Essential:
1. Educated to A-Level or an equivalent standard.
2. RSA Level 1 or equivalent.
3. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload to meet deadlines.
4. Proven customer service experience.
5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, data inputting, and report extraction.
Desirable:
1. Experience in a waste management service.
2. Experience in business marketing and promotion.

2. Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
