Job description and responsibilities:
There are currently 5 vacancies for Senior and Principal Systems Engineers who will work within the Systems Engineering/Requirements teams on a number of Nuclear/Infrastructure projects. They will support the development, management and acceptance of systems level requirements (SLRs), with each of the roles varying slightly across the following activities:
* Develop and maintain SLRs and sub-SLRs with delivery partner stakeholders to ensure a breadth of knowledge is inserted into requirements activities and alignment with Assurance and Engineering documents.
* Mature SLRs and sub-SLRs by holding workshops and Requirement Working Groups with client stakeholders to progress them to endorsement status with the client.
* Ensure traceability of the SLRs to the Project Level Requirements (PLRs)
* Support the development and integration of safety and security requirements.
* Support the collation of evidence for the PLRs and SLRs into a Verification & Validation Requirements Matrix (VVRM) to support Design Reviews.
* Support the development of system architecture to underpin the requirements.
Skills Experience and Qualifications Required:
Essential for all 5 roles:
* Experience in all areas of the System Engineering Lifecycle
* Experience of leading engagement with a wide range of stakeholders to elicit requirements
* Experience of working on a multidisciplinary design project within a highly controlled environment.
* Experience of leading SLR development and acceptance workshops
* Be a competent DOORS Requirements Management application user.
Essential for 1 role:
* Experience of developing safety and security requirements
Essential for 2 roles:
* Experience in collating evidence against requirements and population of a VVRM
* Experience of developing the plan and process for the VVRM activity
Desirable for all roles:
* Experience of working on an infrastructure project and knowledge of the RIBA life cycle.
* Experience of working with AWE.
* Experience of working on a project within the nuclear sector
