Williams is looking for a skilled Component Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the assemble, servicing, and signing off assemblies required for the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs. As the Component Assembly Technician, your key responsibilities will be: Build, strip and service WF1 and customer suspension, brake, steering, Power Unit Integration & Drive-train components to a consistent high standard of competitiveness, safety and reliability, ensuring all assemblies conform to current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures. Carrying out duties as instructed by the Component Assembly Team leader as per the daily work list. Critically evaluate all components during assembly and disassembly, ensuring their integrity and reporting all faults Operate pass-off and test rigs as required. Highlight any assembly/quality issues to the Team leader or relevant design authority. Ensure all assemblies are built to deadlines. Ensure that all build and component information is recorded and maintained as required in relevant systems. Ensure the Component Assembly work environment and equipment is maintained to the highest standards of tidiness, presentation and safety. We are looking for a Component Assembly Technician with the following experience and skills: Relevant component assembly /sub assembly experience in F1, F2 or Sports Car Racing. Ideal candidate would be comfortable using Teamcenter PLM and CAD systems. Familiarity with Lifing systems is beneficial. Experience with ERP & Manufacturing execution systems is advantageous. Passionate about quality, and proactive in identifying and contribute ways to continuously improve department and personal performance. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. A team player with excellent communication skills, ready to collaborate and contribute to a supportive and dynamic team environment.
