This is a part-time post; the salary will be pro-rata'd to the hours worked.
West Dunbartonshire Council is seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join the Corporate Finance team to support the financial management of a range of council services. The role will involve budget development and monitoring, and supporting services.
This is a critical permanent post within the structure.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the corporate finance team, the Finance Officer will be expected to:
1. Support the Finance Business Partners to develop budgets;
2. Support in the preparation of accurate budgetary control reports;
3. Support the successful delivery of the Council's statutory financial accounts and other key statutory returns.
Requirements
The preferred candidate will be required to complete a Standard Disclosure check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
