Education and Training
£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher in delivering lessons and activities
* Support individual students or small groups with their learning and development
* Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with classroom management and behaviour of students
* Contribute to the planning and preparation of educational materials
* Provide feedback to the teacher on student progress and engagement
Minimum Requirements:
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience working with children in an educational setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Desirable Skills:
* Understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Ability to engage and motivate young learners
* Organisational skills and attention to detail
* Patience and empathy when working with students
Additional Qualifications:
* Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* First Aid certification
