About the Role:
Our fantastic client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join their expanding team as a Logistics and Compliance Coordinator. Ideally, applicants will have a logistics background, although strong administrators with compliance knowledge would also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
* Utilise logistics IT to optimise procedures.
* Plan and manage shipments based on customer requirements.
* Supervise and expedite shipments from vendors in China, Europe, and the UK.
* Hold weekly vendor meetings to track orders.
* Prepare accurate reports for customers and vendors.
* Liaise with warehouse/customers for incoming deliveries and prepare necessary paperwork.
* Consult with freight forwarders to expedite shipments, maximise costs, and ensure efficient delivery.
* Prepare Work-In-Progress (WIP) reports for vendors and customers.
* Communicate specific freight requirements/dates to key stakeholders within the business via Slack and Email.
* Ensure project deadlines are met.
* Manage end-to-end compliance for ISO/FSC/Sedex standards, including preparing for audits and monitoring document validity.
* Raise Freight Purchase Orders (POs).
* Greet and assist visitors to the office.
* Arrange couriers, pack and dispatch products, and communicate tracking details.
* Manage incoming and outgoing parcels, including sorting, photographing/videotaping, and updating relevant channels.
* Assist with group projects as needed.
* Collaborate with and provide coverage for the Business Administrator.
Skills Required:
* Proficiency in Excel and Word.
* Strong communication skills with key stakeholders (via WhatsApp/WeChat).
* Adaptability to current situations.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Cross-functional working capabilities.
