Older Prisoner Co-ordinator
HOURS: 26.25 hours per week; full days Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, half day tbc Mon or Fri 0.7 FTE

Location: Bristol As an Older Prisoner Co-ordinator you will play an integral role in supporting the rehabilitation and reintegration of older prisoners into society. Facilitate the development and implementation of tailored support plans for older prisoners, addressing their individual needs and challenges.
Collaborate with external agencies and community partners to create pathways for employment, housing, and healthcare, promoting successful reintegration.
Advocate for the rights and dignity of older prisoners, striving to create a rehabilitative environment that fosters hope and second chances. Preferred Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in offender management or rehabilitation programs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Understanding of the challenges faced by older individuals within the criminal justice system
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach towards supporting individuals through their reintegration journey Preferred Qualifications:
A relevant degree or professional accreditation in social work, criminology, psychology, or a related field
Additional training or certification in rehabilitation or reintegration practices
