About the Role:
We are seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to provide support in primary schools across Salisbury. As an SEN TA, you will work with children with diverse needs, including learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and behavioral challenges, to help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one or small group support tailored to the needs of SEN pupils.
* Assist teachers in developing and implementing individualized learning plans.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Monitor and record student progress, communicating effectively with staff and parents.
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and build rapport with students and colleagues.
About You:
* Previous experience working with SEN students or within an educational setting.
* A patient, adaptable, and positive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or SEN certification) are desirable but not essential.
